Yeah I know, you said this about 720p in the old feedback, and I understand.
But let me just give you a recent example. The show is garbage, but that's not the point:

Secrets.of.Playboy.S02E01-E04.1080p.WEB.h264-EDITH
Secrets.of.Playboy.S02E07-E08.1080p.WEB.h264-EDITH

As you can see E05-E06 is missing the 1080p versions.

Now, it is possible to get the 720p BAE versions elsewhere, but just not here. I personally don't have an issue with the 1080p only decision, but you may risk having incomplete seasons, or just missing out on some specials. Of course people could just make a request for any missing shows. Anyway, my intention was just to report on stuff I've noticed, but I guess it's not that big of an issue, so let's leave it at that.

I understand but the opposite of your example can also happen. It's impossible to please everyone but I think most people still prefer 1080p so it will stay that way.

Agree, we are in the era of 8K video, phones have a higher resolution than 720p. If its that much of an issue for someone, downscale it for your use, scene bitrates are high to begin with.

Like I said, it's no issue for me - I have already accepted the 1080p move. I just wanted to report a possible situation in which some users may miss out because of incomplete seasons. But like you said, can't please everyone. It's now a case for the request section. So, thanks for your ears and let's move on.

I get what you mean, but a lot of other people don't really focus on what they read.

According to your statement, these missing episodes that you mean do not exist in any resolution?

I don't understand your question.

Though it's not really important as the site is SD/1080p only (not including the MOVIE section). Decision is final, unless the winds change, so to speak. Like Scnlog said, the problem would still be there even if you change it to be the other way around. And we can't have it both ways because of bandwidth constraints.

So again just to clarify: The episodes I mentioned was just an example to illuminate a problem when having only one HD resolution on site. The episodes for this particular show DO exist, but with different resolutions. Some episodes are 720p only and they will never be added by site-bots. Anyone missing a show or some episodes not being added by site can of course request it/them.

That's the gist of it.

quite a few UOVA releases weren't also posted last week, and several random yesterday's music releases (30ish were those i searched and couldn't find but they're surely many more) weren't posted either, i fear they're lost cause when that happens releases are sadly gone for good.
why's this happening so often? :-(

Yeah pretty much what you said.
It was aimed at 1 individual as they were looking at this thread.

If things are missed, make a list and request them here, we'll slowly get them all filled right?
Why? No idea, that would be for the admin to answer.
Seeing its all automatic, it's probably the bot getting overload or the real source not mirroring every release.
