I only joined to have a look, Torrent's are not my thing.

Pay for ?something? in the bag or just only for mp3 downloads on the another service it is too.
But torrents are very convenient as you get the dayly releases and choose them according to your taste.
So i'd prefer torrents.

Situation with mp3 here at now is similary with period in the beginning of February of 2021 or July of last year when there was no news in mp3 for a long time.

The point is not to pay for the news of the scene (even a lot).
If you have a small group of friends with you, you can split the cost.
The point is that on the web there are many scam sites .
scnlog was a good compromise in terms of usability and update speed (despite some unfortunate choices with filehosters).
Good service and honest...

It depends on what you compare it to. I wasted too many time when i go to filesharing to download and research the realise for prelistening.

In the case with torrents as it was provided by rapbg i don't need filesharing or search for online prelistening.

I can't pay (due to local restrinctions) and don't have such friends that would like to search new music. But also i can't undestand why i should pay at another service for registation on the one.

You have to ask scnlog why they decide to keep nitro as a paid filehoster, with 25Gb/day of maximum traffic, when there are other very good filehosters that allocate at least 50-60GB/day.
Having to handle FLACs, 25GB/day is a really ridiculous amount of allocated traffic.

p.s. about "mirrorass" I've expressed my thoughts several times...

I have only found one site that decently updates mp3s, but only for house...
I still believe this is not casual.

this is zhouse? (they upload not all house releases)
after many years on scnlog i forget about other sites with mp3 in scene. house music is my theme))
every day i checked only electronic and hose section here.
but now I have to look for alternative sources with house music :/

Just joined up to figure out what to do next, similar to atre I have lost most other references to drum and bass releases within the scene.
0daymusic FTP is now expensive to put it politely - any suggestions greatly appreciated !

I'm thinking about how to make the new mp3 releases available to the friends of this forum.
I have a long-term account on ddlownload, which allows sharing public links without premium account.
Do you have any advice on how to do it? Honestly, I would like to do something for this nice community using this forum...

p.s.:

don't hate me, i opened an account on 0daymusic too, it's scary expensive, but right now it's the only decent source for scene's releases.
Avoid trash traps like mp3trackz.org/groovytunes.org and various clones and similar sites...they are scoundrels.

Some of the mirrors are worse than others. Doodrive requires a few extra redirects and occasionally another captcha before the download will start. UploadEE, 1fichier are slightly better ones.

I thought ION10 and ION265 were from RARBG ... not seeing any new releases anywhere since the shutdown.

Both were bots working on Rarbg. And they were great, because subtitles in different languages were added to most of the series.

It's worth mentioning that it's .org not .pl - which is an embarrassingly poor copy with lots of crap insertions of their internal group.

A good alternative was mp3 packs thrown in every day. They may not have been as fast as on the trackers mentioned, but hey - they were uploaded to pub trackers making them well accessible. However, with the closure of rarbg, I don't see a pub tracker with them. In general GalaxyTorrents is mega disappointing. Not many scene rls just some 800mb movie style internals crap Oo
