The more releases there are, the worse they are perceived, well, what good does that do then? That's why I don't understand what XTC wants to achieve by posting so many of them here.

@Alex.py ; While I understand your frustration about the XTC releases in your opinion being useless and taking up unwanted space, the scene does not care about what we like or not. To them we are all "a nobody", you, me, and the rest of the forum means nothing to them. They do not care about our opinion for what is a "good or bad" release.
In the end it's about taste, you like Trance (hey so do I btw), but Person-B likes Hip-Hop and could not care less about our "trance crap".

If the XTC releases are causing your download experience issues, you're better off trying to add some filters to your system so you don't download them (you mention js trigger? Unsure what that is).

I downloaded some of these XTC releases and after listening to them I have deleted most of them. I now skip them, just like I skip CIN_INT (upscaled) releases.

Samaddy has some good points, it's free, why are we complaining about free stuff?

You didn't quite understand me, I meant that when there is a rain of releases from XTC (when here are too many releases per day), then they are all perceived worse because there are a lot of them in a short period of time (per day).

If they post them every day, even if you postpone downloading them for later, then when even more so to evaluate them, if they accumulate. And there is no time to get acquainted with each one. Pre-listening directly on the site would also help a little here. Even if you download them as one torrent file (if such an opportunity exists, of course), then it is okay, but in principle there are a lot of them. It is very difficult for one person to evaluate, listen all this, despite all the free stuff.

Release raining keeps going for two month. I don't think that XTC releases are bad, they have excellent sound, despite the occasional problems with incomplete files and jumping effects of tracks. They give releases from world labels of Europe, North America. Even if you take on faith that all this techno is faceless (although I don't know for sure, without listening), then you can miss potentially good things

So I would like to ask when they will stop raining releases so that we can at least plan acquaintance with them. And if they could understand to the users, they would probably understand also that they could thereby frustrate people from downloading some of their stuff.

(you mention js trigger? Unsure what that is).

Not sure what advice I can give you to keep up with all their releases.
Maybe have a good think and ask yourself, "Do I really need all these releases? What will happen if I don't have them all?"

That's the whole point, that no one will download more than can download in a day. Even if XTC were the only ones here, there would still be a lot of techno stuff, as it has been observed here lately. XTC probably do it for show, without really thinking that the download percentage will decrease.

This leeching place is at the bottom of the distribution chain. That said: It's open for everyone, so it's still a decent place to get the latest Skip-Skibidi-Skrillex EPs. Let's just hope it lasts a bit longer, because eventually Big Pharma is going to start price-jacking all the blue pills, and all we're left with is the memory and longing for what once was.

Anyway, If a group decides to hammer releases for the next 5 months, then there's nothing we can do about it. People can only give you their opinion, and if you don't want their "opinion", then PM/mail @Scnlog directly. Scnlog is most certainly the only person that can answer any automation-related issues on this site. You should of course know, that if you ask to filter something that isn't to your liking, you'll probably have people complaining about the opposite.

The only thing I want to add to the topic in general is to reinforce the idea how little the scene cares about us. How many nfos over the years have said "do NOT share this release publicly!"?? I'll tell you, countless. If the scene could destroy us, torrents sites, dc++, soulseek, they probably would.

The group released in 19 august over 200 files containing MP3 of Push, Legend B, Cosmic Gate, Lost Witness, etc
Old school trance from 90-00 in 320kbps, which were never released before
I waited and searched daily if they are posted here, sadly not
I intended to renew my nitro_flare subscription especially for those
other dozens of XTC releases were posted since then

Statistic only, as the torrent packs are no longer available/released due to RARBG being dead.
I think Torrent Leech may still do these, but I am not a member so cannot confirm.

I don't download everything, I actually download very little these days.
I did not see those PUSH/Legend B/Cosmic Gate/Lost Witness releases before, just having a look now (thanks for the information).
If releases are missing from scnlog, please request them and I'm sure they will be filled.

I have been very inactive in filling lately, preparing to move overseas very very soon. I will be inactive for about 30 days after the move.

Hi, as a Torrent Leech member, i can confirm that they are still releasing torrent packs.
The newest ones are from 2 days ago, TL-0day FLAC SEP13-2024 with size of 30.28 GB and TL-0day MP3 SEP13-2024 with size of 42.9 GB.
