Hello,

I was wondering if, I should stick to one scene group while updating Nintendo Switch games?
Let's say I downloaded

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_NSW-HR

Now, there's

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_MULTI_NSW-HR

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_MULTI4_NSW-SUXXORS

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_ULTIMATE_NINJA_STORM_CONNECTIONS_MULTI6_NSW-SUXXORS

Now, with the three bottom releases, when they come out with their update patches, should I, or could I use their update files, or stick with only '-HR' update patches?
Can I mix and match update files with certain base game releases? Or, stick with one scene's group's release and don't mix?

These are different versions of the same game that were released for different regions and contain different languages (MULTI/MULTI4/MULTI6). You likely cannot mix and match the updates between them. Rather than checking the release group name for a compatible update, check the included nfo file for the same or similar title id.

Thanks Man! I wasn't sure, that's why I asked. I didn't think the files were that picky as to what update goes to where.

A question that has always bothered me: Do i need to apply updates in order (e. g. install 1.01, then 1.02 and 1.03 last) or do i only need to apply the most recent update to the base release?

What, I would do is update with the newest patch. I don't see why you want to go one by one. But, that's just me my child.

It is fairly common for pc-releases that you have to do this.
E. g. 30XX.Update.v1.00.19-TENOKE
Code:
│ The following releases are required for this update: │
     │ 30XX.v1.00.15-TENOKE │
     │ 30XX.Update.v1.00.16-TENOKE │
     │ 30XX.Update.v1.00.17-TENOKE │
     │ 30XX.Update.v1.00.18-TENOKE

Thanks for explaining this dude!

Switch updates are cumulative, you only need to install the latest update which will contain all the previous ones in it.

Thanks, for this, because I have

Taiko_no_Tatsujin_Rhythm_Festival_MULTI5_NSW-SUXXORS

I noticed last night that
Taiko_no_Tatsujin_Rhythm_Festival_Update_v3.0.2_MULTI5_NSW-SUXXORS / Taiko_no_Tatsujin_Rhythm_Festival_Update_v3.0.2_NSW-SUXXORS

I decided to go with the MULTI5 release, since that's what I have to begin with, and wasn't sure if the plan update release would work regardless since it didn't have MULTI5 in the title.

Different releases requires different updates even if it is for the same game.
The titleID needs to match. You can find the titleid on the NFO or by scanning the file.
tinfoil.io lists almost all titleids.

ah.. see i was going to use the non MULTI label with the actual game, and that wouldn't have worked then. So, I'll just try to stick with like-minded titles

You said TITLE IDs need to match.
Well this NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_MULTI4_NSW-SUXXORS = 0100D2D0190A4000
is different than NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_Update_v1.1.1_MULTI4_NSW-SUXXORS = 01005A20190A6800

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_ULTIMATE_NINJA_STORM_CONNECTIONS_MULTI6_NSW-SUXXORS = 01005A20190A6000

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_MULTI_NSW-HR = 0100D010190A8000

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_NSW-HR = 0100FA10190A0000

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_Update_v1.1.1_MULTI4_NSW-SUXXORS - 0100D2D0190A4800

So I guess I'll never get, nor understand then. I have this release on my site

NARUTO_X_BORUTO_Ultimate_Ninja_STORM_CONNECTIONS_NSW-HR

ShouldI replace this with my own person rip, I'm from the US, or just use another releases?
