I doubt the scene will jump to this version any time soon (historically they have been slow to adopt new codecs), but you never know.

does not have any compiled bundles/binaries yet so it's just straight up source code for now (to compile on your own).

The scene will proably find a reason to use 3.101 instead while still enforcing VBR encoding for retail sources.
