I know you prefer mostly user-friendly hosts but Mediafire can be regard as user-friendly between other premium services. It says some restrictions without premium accounts but it does not happen in reality. Also, most services shut off approximately in 4-5 years but Mediafire has been lasting for many years. You may consider it.

Mediafire is not included because:
- they are aggressive against pirated content and will PURGE your entire account on the first strike.
- they track IP's for geolocation graphic purposes (not a fan of open tracking that everyone can see)

Free users have a file-size limit of 400MB (not verified, I no longer have an account after getting banned)
Upload speeds appear to be slowish according to some reviews (again, untested due to not having an account).
You also need to make an account with them, people prefer not to do this ;)

Nothing stops you from using them, my list is a guide for people who have no idea which one to use :)

Looks like Hidan is merging with Buzzheavier:
"
We're merging hidan.sh to buzzheavier.com as proxy domain. Since hidan.sh does not have a hash checking against cp database, bad actors are misusing it.

  1. If you have files on hidan.sh please download it upload it to buzzheavier.com
  2. Upload wills be disabled on hidan.sh effective immediately

If you have purchased storage on hidan don't worry, I will arrange file transfer, please dm me on discord
"

My hidan links still work but I don't know how much longer they will be up for.
Time to switch to Buzzheavier if you really NEED to (short expiry, so not recommended).
Hidan has been removed from the table on the first post.

Krakenfiles is blocked in the UK so VPN is needed. May be same for other countries.

KrakenFiles' speed is atrocious most of the time anyway, like 2MB/s max.. when the majority of hosts allow much higher.
Using JDownloader does seem to help sometimes, but it's not guaranteed either.

Just a warning for those that use WeTransfer:
They have updated their Terms and Conditions that everything you upload WILL be used to train AI.

So if you use this for private/business use, be careful what you upload if you don't want this information sold/seen by AI.

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Purged from the list for that reason.

If you're "keen" enough to give em your email for the code and it does not impact downloading, feel free to keep using them.
But I can no longer recommend them.

Not too difficult to create a dummy email account for sign-up/confirmation code stuff like this.. I use ProtonMail and it works fine.

True, it's not hard.
But a step not required on many other places.

I just tried it and they sent a code to my email. Had to be entered before I could upload.
The next few uploads did not require this, but since you don't actually create an account and log in, unsure how often they will need to verify your email.

I'll add it back to the list, but with a warning.

is alright, they claim they never delete files and have a 15GB/file limit

Pixeldrain also doesn't really have a DL limit like the first post says, it only caps your speed to 1MB/s after the 6GB but it never actually stops you

Pillows has the following limits:

For anonymous users: The max file size is 200MB.
For registered users: The max file size is 500MB (15GB storage limit)
For subscribers: a 15GB file size limit. <- subscriber sounds like paying customer (did not sign up to verify this)
Signed up to try and the subscription page lists this:

For $10.00/mo, you can get access to:
  • No popup ads
  • 1GB file uploads <- not 15 as stated in the FAQ
  • Any file type
  • 1TB max storage

Could be a decent host for smaller files.

Pixeldrain does indeed have a "soft" daily limit of 6GB, the speed is reduced to 1MB/s. I have also seen a hard stop at 6GB where they did not allow any more downloads.
The limit is more of a guide so that someone doesn't store a 120 GB release on Pixeldrain because that would still take a very long time to download, while other hosts do not have speed limits after 6GB ;)

I'll throw a few pillows.su links in my future uploads and see how they last.
