im just wondering if i am the only one seeing this below on every post or is it the same for everyone and if its just me is it because im doing something wrong

"wizotoo, please read these simple rules before you request:

Before requesting, always search with the FULL release name in the search box. The "is this being discussed" window is not a search engine.
You can make up to 10 requests (including RE-UP) per day (24h) to avoid abuse.
Include a link with info about the release, typically from srrDB or PreDB.
Once your request has been fulfilled, edit the thread and mark it with the prefix "FILLED".
Show your gratitude by thanking the user with a Like, do not reply with "thank you" messages.
If a link is dead, leave a reply asking for a re-up instead of making a new topic.
Fillers should prioritize user-friendly hosts with decent retention when possible."

It's the same for everyone.

The part where your username shows is different for every user.

It's intentional so that people can't say "I don't know the rules" ... its on top of every page.
Yes it's annoying, but it has been there for many months now, you only noticed it now?

I did make some changes earlier, I added that "All new registrations require..." bit, which you can dismiss.
Maybe it reloaded the rules part for everyone as I think initially it was dismiss-able.

It seems this new registration suspension notice isn't showing up for current users, at least I only saw it for the first time after intentionally logging out of the forum (maybe that was the point though).

It's annoying you can't dismiss the rules notice box, that red font in particular makes me feel like I received a warning whenever I return to the forum after a longer break.

Install
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
, open its options menu, change to the My filters tab and add the following lines:
Code:
! hide site-wide notice box (single and multi versions)
scnlog.me##[data-xf-init="notices"]

! hide site branding
scnlog.me##.p-header

! hide pointless "Is this already being discussed?" slide-down on entering a new thread title
! scnlog.me##.js-suggestedThreadContainer
! better yet, block the network request
||scnlog.me/*/find-suggested-threads$all
Then make sure that Enable my custom filters is checked, click on Apply changes and reload the forum page.

Edit: Fixed a stupid typo and added two more useful filters. The latter "feature"
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
, just like the regular search function.

Thanks for the tips, maybe someone will find them useful. I personally won't, because while I expected it could be done using an adblocker, I gave up on that idea thinking that I might miss something important in the future.
