They must have changed the terms, I have removed Hostize from the list completely.

I only realized today that with
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
you can re-activate expired transfers manually by setting a new expiry period. This obviously only works if you are signed in with your (Mega) account. I had never expected nor thought of this feature since most file hosts simply delete files after expiry.

Also the changes are only after August 1st 2026 and the only change appears to be a limit to the number of times a transfer can be downloaded.
And if the currently stated price of 3 Euro p/month for the new paid account is true, that wouldn't be too expensive either.

Pixeldrain is getting pretty close to running out of storage space. If the rate of growth holds on, the site will be full in about two months. I can't order more storage capacity because I'm still financially recovering from the last storage expansion. And the cost of server hardware has absolutely exploded over the past few months.

For this reason I will be reducing the expiry time for files uploaded on free and Pro accounts. The file expiry for free users will be reduced from 120 days to 60 days. And, to keep the 2x ratio with the free plan, the expiry time for Pro accounts will be reduced from 240 days to 120 days. The new file expiry times will affect all files on Pixeldrain, even those uploaded before the new limits are imposed.

File expiry only happens for files uploaded on the home page or dashboard of the site, these are the files which show up on the My Files page. This mechanism does not apply for files uploaded to the premium Filesystem, files uploaded there do not expire at all.

The maximum size for files on free accounts will also be reduced from 20 GB to 10 GB. Files which are larger than the new limit of 10 GB and were uploaded before the change are unaffected. The file size limit of 100 GB for all premium users will not change.

These changes will be applied on 26 january 2026.

Site message from Pixel drain, I am not pixeldrain lol..

1fichier : slow for free users, 1 file / 2 hours.
They also aggressively block any IPs associated with VPS providers. If you use a VPN religiously like myself you'll be disappointed to discover that nearly every server provided will likely be blocked by 1fichier.

And if I'm not mistaken 1fichier also often shows "no slots available for free users" or something along those lines. They are basically forcing you to create an account, but considering how slow downloading is.. it's just not worth it. Even KrakenFiles is better in that regard and that is saying something lol
With Krakenfiles I generally reach around 1MB/s download, but 1fichier rarely exceeds 100KB/s. Maybe someone else has better luck with them..

Pixeldrain file life has halved to 60 days
+ file size limit now 10GB

> 1fichier is just shit
But it has remote upload and other unique features for file sharing.

ps. in my blacklist on first place - multiup.io, every two-three clicks i see ads or cf captcha (sometimes cf captcha loop), it's a really shit service.

Install NoScript and/or uBlock Origin extensions in your browser and you won't see any more ads or captchas. I use multiup.io from main site all the time and I've never seen an ad.

I use uBlock Origin - what filters do you mean?

I'm not using any special filters for uBlock just the default configuration but I also have NoScript installed.

You can't bypass cf captcha/anti-bot protection with NoScript or uBlock Origin.
