Files deleted 15 days after last download.

Too many "short" term hosts ... 30 days or more are preferred, there's already so many re-up's every day.
sorry to go off topic but the premium hosters are premium for a reason , files stay much longer , regular uploaders here can grab a premium 1fichier (they have a sale now) , and regular downloaders can grab same deal or realdebrid/alldebrid subscription it's very cheap too , uploaders/admins can post their referal links so it's a small incentive for them and it's win win for everybody , i'm not talking about the limited hosts that pay uploaders , i'm talking about ones with decent storage and speeds

Expecting everyone to grab a premium account because files will be online longer?
Completely against what this forum is all about.

People are here because they don't want to pay in the first place ...

Gofile, Files.fm and Buzzheavier dropped from the list due to short file expiry.
2 weeks is just too short of a period, plenty of other options available.

It seems
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
may have some overloaded servers or other server-related issues at the moment. Some downloads drop to below 1MB/s at times and rarely exceed 3MB/s.
A 80MB zip file should normally complete instantly, but took over a minute now..

Considering it's a widely used host on this forum, I thought it would be worth mentioning.

Unsure if imagenetz changed something but I am unable to download ANY files from them (even the one I upload myself).
Without adblock I now get a new window telling me I NEED to watch a short ad to get access for 24 hours.
1761440529080.png
But watching the ad does nothing (timer goes to 0) ...

Tried 4 different browsers ... never get access to download.

Old links seem to NOT be affected, only new uploads!
example:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
(I uploaded this and it will not let me download this)

I tried with Chrome and after disabling adblock it took only 5 seconds after which I could close the ad and the download button was available..

It must be a relatively new "feature" as I don't remember ever seeing it before, but it might explain the downtime they had a couple days ago.

With adblock enabled I can still view and download anything without ads/pop-ups/etc

With ublock disabled I get the same experience as what @mv24280 just described, so downloading eventually works. But as soon as I enable ublock downloading won't work anymore, just like you mentioned.

Had I known this in advance I wouldn't have used imagenetz, as there are plenty of alternatives that don't require you to watch a freaking ad before a download starts. So no more imagenetz from now on.

Tried with Chrome, watched the 5 second ad, closed the window .. clicked download ... page reloads, same shit, endless loop.

yeah it's a new feature, older uploads do not have this trash.

With adblock enabled I just get an endless page refreshing loop when I click download .. wait 3 seconds, click download, page reloads ... on all browsers (chrome, firefox, brave, opera)

I'm going to remove imagenetz from our recommended list.

The imagenetz ad has been there for a while now. It's just that everyone had ads blocked and didn't know it was there. Looks like the site owner is enforcing to disable ad blockers like many other places

@aGGyunit

I donwloaded your example file as usual, didn't have to do or change anything and I didn't see any ad. In fact I didn't know that imagenetz had ads. I always have UBlock enabled.

I see Buzzheavier and VikingFiles both have short file lifespans. I get the best upload speeds with them, so that blows.

On the other hand, I've gotten PMs from multiple users over the past month saying both of those hosting sites have given them issues downloading in general (whether it's erroneous malware flags in their browsers or the download buttons not being visible). I use them both regularly without issue behind my VPN, but perhaps it's more difficult viewing them in some European countries?

It looks like the site list in the main post with the best hosters was updated in August. Looking through this thread it doesn't look like there's much else mentioned but are there any new sites to consider when filling requests?

Yeah often the ones with the shortest file lifespans are the quickest :(
Since August I've made minor changes and mainly just removed sites that were getting worse.

Haven't found the new golden egg yet ...

In my opinion Zippyshare.day should be taken from the list. It has a very obtrusive ad-blocker detector and while I'm sure that can be surpassed, it's the most annoying site to try to download from.
I decided to whitelist zippyshare.day and now all it does is open the download page for a split-second before re-directing to a spam site, which doesn't even allow me to return to the actual download page.

Maybe another ad-blocker is more up-to-date and can bypass the detector, because without a functioning ad-blocker zippyshare.day is downright impossible to download from.

UPDATE: I decided to get UBlock Origin Lite and now I can safely download from Zippyshare.day without ads/re-directs, but my advice/opinion still stands.
