Synopsis: At the end of the Second World War, the Lwander family restaurant is in financial trouble, located in center of Stockholm. The oldest son Gustaf (Mattias Nordkvist) had kept the restaurant running during the war with partly illegal means and now wants to continue to run it traditionally as ever. But when middle-aged son Peter (Adam Lundgren) comes home from the war stating that the family business is about to go bankrupt, it is clear to him that much has to change to meet the new times and needs. It is also thought about turning a part of the restaurant into a nightclub. While the family conflict seems inevitable, the youngest daughter Nina (Hedda Stiernstedt) falls in love with the kitchen assistant Calle (Charlie Gustafsson).
