Synopsis: The story is set in Trieste and begins with the marriage between Laura (Anna Valle), daughter of the well-known entrepreneur of the shipbuilding town Alberto Castellani (Ray Lovelock), and Marco (Lorenzo Flaherty). The ceremony, however, is interrupted by the discovery, at sea, of a box inside which a skeleton is found in a wedding dress. In the same days, Lorenzo Bermann (Alessandro Preziosi) arrives in Trieste, a fascinating and mysterious entrepreneur, who no one knows, or rather recognizes: Lorenzo is in fact very close to Laura and Marco and is ready to take revenge for what he has suffered in the past.
