2016-11-17: Scnlog v2
Welcome to the Feedback page which serves the same purpose as it did in the old Scnlog and it's the best way to "talk" to the admin. You can make your suggestions, complaints or requests here, preferably in a polite manner. If you are making a request for a scene release make sure it's not too old. Don't ask for re-uploads of stuff that was taken down to DMCA complaints.
Since we are in the beginning, there are probably some errors I didn't notice. I'm mainly interested in releases that are in the wrong categories. If you spot one, please let me know.
2017-11-08: What happened?
Our previous domains scnlog.eu and scenelog.eu were suspended by the .eu registry and they no longer work nor I have access to them. Please update your bookmarks to the new domain scnlog.me. Following this incident a Twitter account was set up so that you can be informed in case something like this happens again. Also the comments on this page were reset.

Just now, I noticed for the first time that the upload contains 3 CDs worth of tracks instead of the 2 the release is meant to have. This is one of the extraneous files, for example:

The first thing I tried was simply googling those strings in turn, but that didn’t turn up anything helpful. The second thing was to search srrDB for the hash, which didn’t work – would have impressed me quite a bit if it had, too. Now, given that the file’s ID3 info at least identifies the specific album and edition, I could of course search the site for those and go thru each corresponding release, which wouldn’t be much of a slog. For my edification, though, I’m curious whether a more direct way exists.

@barbara, cheers! Are you doing anything differently with today’s uploads, by any chance? My experience so far had been that krakenfiles downloads refuse to run in parallel – which is to say, when one is already in progress, another won’t start until that one finishes. But your latest links appear to be exempt from that… any ideas? 🙂

My guess would be that when krakenfiles servers have too much traffic they won’t allow simultaneous downloads. I’m not doing anything about it I wish I could 🙂 I don’t even have an account, I upload anonymously.
@barbara, I noticed in the meantime that the “Last download date” field is blank for the links in question. Possibly, there’s some technical problem, and parallel downloading is a symptom of that. If so, technical problems FTW!? 😛
