Synopsis: TV total bears a strong resemblance to a late-night show. There is a monologue at the beginning of the show, a separate show band, the mobile desk, talk guests, clips on specific topics and performances by musicians and stand-up comedians. After the bad experiences of Gottschalk late night and to avoid competition with the Harald Schmidt Show, the concept was adapted and expanded for a younger audience.
